I have always found connection and awe at the place where my inner experience makes contact with the natural world: in the mountains, along rivers, under the stars. In this way, I am a student of the Earth’s wisdom and an explorer of the Great Mystery. My apprenticeship to Life inspires me to share the Truth and Beauty that can be found in Awakening. Therefore, I humbly offer to serve as a guide towards what is forever Essential in the heart of Human experience.

These can be dark waters to navigate, truly fathomless depths. However, for those willing to wade into the stream, I am willing to be present in open-hearted strength to provide support, reflection, and a safe container for personal development and transformation. In my guide work, I prefer to use Sound, Breath, and Meditation. Each of these modalities enhances and amplifies the other, leading to states of deep relaxation, release, and realization.

I’ve been a multi-instrumental musician for over 20 years, learning stringed instruments, wind instruments, and percussion instruments at a young age. I have witnessed and participated in many transportive performances over the years. Today, I weave together the timeless sounds of tibetan and crystal bowls, chimes, drum and rattle, flute, guitar and voice to create an immersive atmosphere for deep inner journey. My musical inspiration is drawn from everything that I hear including natural soundscapes, traditional and sacred music from around the world, as well as modern music and EDM. Currently, I am immersing myself in Nada Yoga, or the yoga of sound, and the teachings of Russil Paul.

My experience with meditation goes as far back as my love of the natural world and music. It is all one thing for me. I have found myself equally transported into inner stillness by a piece of music, a voice, wind in the trees, fresh snow on the mountains, or a silent meditation. My official exploration of meditative mind-states began after encountering the writings of American transcendentalists and beatniks, and eventually reached into the traditions of China, Japan, and India over the years. I currently study meditation and present moment awareness with Adi Vajra.

Finding breathwork has been a newer addition to my practice, having become a passion within the last few years. I have become a dedicated student of breath techniques through yogic study, the work of Wim Hoff, Dr. Joe Dispenza, and the Breath Center. Breathwork, ranging from ancient pranayama to modern approaches, has become an essential component of what I offer. I have found the breath to be the single-most powerful vehicle to deepen meditation and quicken the awakening process, as well as open a pathway to deep self-reflection, release, and re-wiring.

I am also a husband to an absolutely incredible woman, and father to two amazing children! When I am not walking with my fellow travelers on the path to Awakening, I work as a professional Earth Scientist, holding degrees in Geology and Hydrology. I repair and restore damaged river ecosystems throughout the Pacific Northwest.
